Arranging an NVF Burial
 
NVF burials require few formalities. Speak to the hospital ward staff or Bereavement Services. They will assist you with the release and collection of the baby including the paperwork required by the Council's Cemeteries Office to facilitate a burial. 

The burial of an NVF in the "Muslim Common" section of Saffron Hill Cemetry will not incur any burial costs.

Note: Cost-free NVF burials are only carried out by Leicester City Council during normal working hours. 

To make burial arrangements please contact Leicester City Council's Cemeteries Department.

You will need to be in possession of the hospital's 3-part form and complete the council’s Application of Baby Interment (BRV3). You can download the BRV3 using the link below.
